I am lying here thinking of you.
Tears fall from my eyes because I am blue.

 

You’ve gotten your wings and off you’ve flown

But I know that you are not alone.

To a better place with light and love
Too meet again your one true love above

God didn’t take you away from me

Grandpa has been waiting patiently

He made you an angel with wings to fly
Too look after us from up in the sky

I know you are in a better place
I just close my eyes to see your face.

You will forever be missed.
